After working for a major Chicago firm, Steve moved to Boise, Idaho, and took a position with the Idaho Supreme Court and, later, with Hawley Troxell Ennis & Hawley. As a partner at Mooney Wieland Smith & Rose PLLC, Steve helps businesses defend their operations and intellectual property.

Rose has been an attorney since 1994. She is a member of the Calvert County Bar Association and the Maryland State Bar Association. She is currently the president-elect of the CCBA, having served formerly as its treasurer and secretary. Rose was law clerk to the Honorable Steven I.
